A wonderful teacher, I remember him well. Condolences to his family.

So sorry for the loss of Frank Murphy. I had the pleasure to see him at the reunion in 2017. He will be missed immensely.

Rest in peace Mr. Murphy. You have guided many to grow up to become the best versions of themselves. We will forever remember you as a great physicist, headmaster, sportsman with the biggest of hearts. How big is big? How small is small? It’s all a matter of perspective -Frank Murphy-

“Maths is language and Physics is Literature “, beautiful words from a remarkable Man. Mr Murphy is the best thing I remember from my four years at Runnymede. A towering personality he coached me not just in Physics but even in improving my Basketball. Sometime in 1985, I had once had a fight with Marco C. and we ended up breaking a window. Mr Murphy was as cool as possible about it, he just said that the window had to be replaced by us at our cost within 24 hours. We did it and it was business as usual. May God give Peace to his eternal soul.
