Frank Murphy Memorial Condolence Book

Mr. Murphy was one the pillars that upheld not only great teaching at runnymede, but also helped us to become better as students and as individuals for our future. You will be sorely missed Frank. May you rest in peace with all greats that once crossed our paths and are no longer with us. Thank you for everything.

Dear Mr. Murphy, Frank, We, your Runnymedian community, owe you so much. I wasn’t as lucky to be actually be taught by you, but it always baffled me how you managed to remember every single student’s name, who was in who’s class, who was who’s sibling… In the last 10 years I was lucky to run into you in our shared neighborhood of Retiro, and I continued to be baffled, as you never failed to remember my name, ask about my parents and brothers, or wonder if I still kept in touch with such and such classmates, some 25 years after we graduated. And so, just like the law of conservation of energy, where energy can neither be created nor destroyed - only converted, your energy will remain among all those who were fortunate to have met you. God speed!

I wish I had told him more how much of an impact he had on my life and career. He taught me to love learning for the sake of learning. I will be forever grateful.
