Frank Murphy Memorial Condolence Book

Rest in peace dear Mr Murphy! I will miss catching up with you every now and again, but will treasure all those memories that you helped create, the anecdotes, words of wisdom and characteristic sense of humour. Well after we finished school, you have continued to be a mentor for so many of us - thank you for all that you have left us with! ❤

My favorite teacher, mentor and person of all times. Gentle, charismatic and wit come to mind. Blessed to have been is pupil from Lower Ⅲ to Ⅵ Form.

Sad news for my Runnymede College school mates around the world. Our form teacher and close family friend Frank Murphy (forever Mr. Murphy) has suffered a severe brain haemorrage and is on life support only to fulfil his wish to donate his organs. An example to all of us as a teacher and person - integrity, kindness, friendship, eloquence, wit, humor and a sharp mind are just some adjectives that come to mind.... and of course generosity! With all of us, his "little people" and now even in his last living moments with a selfless act. I hope the recipients enjoy a good long life and to Mr. Murphy I lift my glass and toast (I'll have to get hold of his favourite "proper" Irish whiskey). My eternal gratitude to you. To us you left the best part of you. You made the world a better place (and more understandable) to many little people! Rest in peace Mr. Murphy ❤

Thank you, Mr. Murphy, you have been the most inspirational teacher I ever had. You will be greatly missed but your teachings will live on in us.

Mr. Murphy was much more than a teacher and leader at Runnymede College - he was a mentor and an example to many. I will always remember his charisma and care, and ability to teach through the 'noise' and get to the bottom of what the institution was doing: educating young kids to go off into the world and work to make it a better place. RIP Mr. Murphy
