Sad news. He was always so kind to me. I never had him as a teacher but I remember he used to be the one in charge of detentions after school. So I saw him very often

Rest in wisdom. One of the best teachers I ever had, and a great friend too. As they say here in LA when someone passes away, “Frank Murphy, ¡presente!”

Remarkable in so many ways… and profoundly impacting. Over three decades after you taught me Physics (succeeding in making me really enjoy it!), I remain in admiration of your amazing mix of sternness, humour, sense of justice, and zest for life. Mr Murphy, you inspired me in so many ways, it is difficult to describe. Today, I speak to my kids about you, and some of the wise lessons you taught us. You will be forever remembered. I cannot thank you enough for everything you did for me. RIP Mr Murphy!!
